Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta: Xbox One & PC Start Date

This year, the Call of Duty series is dropping the classic single-player story mode in favour of a bolstered multiplayer offering. Alongside the usual PvP online multiplayer and zombies modes, Activision has decided to jump on the hugely popular Battle Royale bandwagon for Black Ops 4 with a mode called Blackout. Before the full game releases next month, Activision is running a Beta period for Blackout. If you have access to the game, you’ll want to know when you can jump on. If you’re playing on Xbox One or PC, here is the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta start date and time.

Unfortunately for Xbox One and PC players, you’ll have to wait a little longer to jump into the Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta than PlayStation 4 players do. The Xbox One and PC versions have a start date of 1pm ET/10am PT on Sept. 14. It’ll be interesting to see Call of Duty on a scale we’ve never seen before, and see Activision’s take on Battle Royale.

To get access to the Blackout beta on Xbox One or PC, if you haven’t already, you will need to preorder the game first, at which point you will be sent a code to redeem on Activision’s website. Then, once you’ve signed in, chosen your platform, and redeemed the code, another code will be sent to you via email for you to redeem on the store of the platform of your choice. The Blackout Beta should then download for you to jump in once it goes live on the start date.

That’s all you need to know about what the start date and time are for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta on Xbox One and PC. For more tips and tricks on the beta, and the full game once it releases, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
