How to Change Character in Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta

Recommended Videos

The long-awaited Black ops 4 Blackout beta is finally upon us and people have a lot of questions surrounding it. With battle royale being brand new to the Call of Duty series fans are wondering just exactly it will feel and play like. The map is a mixture of Black ops maps from past installments in the series and players will notice familiar faces running around. Blackout combines everything you know from the series and sculpts it all to create a unique battle royale experience. Adding land sea and air vehicles into the mix is something none of the other major competitors are currently offering. Not to mention that the beloved Zombies series has been worked into the battle royale mode in some capacity. One thing that players love about this genre are skins and cosmetic items which are one of the main points driving player progression outside of simply winning a match. With Blackout players will be able to customize their character. How do you do that though? We have the answer right here for you

Once you are in a lobby for Blackout you will see a character option on the bottom of the screen. Select that option and pick one of the characters available in the beta. After choosing a character you will have 4 different male skins and 4 different female skins to choose from. The full release will have more options and unlockables, but as for the beta these are your current options.

The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout beta runs from Sept. 10 for PS4 users who have pre-ordered Black Ops 4 and runs until Sept. 17. For Xbox and PC users the Blackout beta starts on Sept. 14. So be sure to hop into the action and see what Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has in store for its battle royale game mode.
