NBA 2K19 (Sept. 11)

While there have been a number of basketball games trying to emulate the fast-paced and skillful court sport, it’s currently the NBA 2K series that reigns supreme for delivering the most immersive and entertaining experience out there right now. While players can already check out NBA 2K19 The Prelude by downloading it from the Xbox One store to check out the opening of the MyCareer Mode, and play a practice match, you’ll have to wait until Sept. 11 to get the full package.

Thankfully, it’ll be rammed with content to keep you playing for months on end. NBA 2K19’s MyTeam mode gets a few new variations in the form of Unlimited, allowing you to create a team of 13 players with no restrictions whatsoever, and Triple Threat, which pits you in 3 vs. 3 matches against all 30 teams in the NBA.

Of course, all of your favorite modes are still here, and last year’s open world introduction of The Neighborhood has been given a redesign, featuring new places to explore, day to night transitions, and just more to see and do when you’re not on the court.
