What to Do After Beating Dragon Quest XI (Post Game & Endgame)
Dragon Quest XI sequentially layers in sidequests throughout the game, starting with 25 in the first half and going all the way above 60 by the time you’re working toward the second ending.
There’s a trophy for completing 40 sidequests, so if you’re after trophies you’ll want to complete them anyway, but there’s also some great rewards to get as well.
Later sidequests, especially, will give you powerful weapons and armor as rewards, valuable recipe books that let you craft even more powerful equipment, and useful items like the Pep Pop, which lets you instantly put any party member in a pepped up state.
A few of the very late sidequests even reward you with boosts for certain party member’s stats or abilities, and can be crucial for taking down the true boss.
On top of that, many sidequests have you journeying through areas with boosted enemies or bosses, giving you valuable opportunities for grinding.
If you haven’t bothered with many of the sidequests in Dragon Quest XI, the post game and endgame is the perfect time to mop everything up.
