How to Evolve Eevee in Pokemon GO
While Eevee has been in Pokemon GO since the mobile game launched a couple of years ago. Now, the game is very different, with trading, Raids, and shiny Pokemon being added to the game. Of course, Eevee remains, but the process of evolving it isn’t quite as simple as it originally was. If you’re trying to do so now, with the changes that have come to the game, here’s everything you need to know.
First of all, all the same Eevee evolution rules still stand to this day. If you’re evolving Eevee into each of its evolutions for the first time, with only those from the first two generation being available in the game, you can rename them to get the evolution you would like. It only works once, but here are all the details should you still need them. Once you’ve used this trick once, you will simply have to evolve the Eevee and hope that the Eeveelution you’re after comes out of that glowing white orb.

Unfortunately, the naming tricks do not work for the shiny variants if you’ve used them before, nor are there any evolution stones in the game, so you’ll simply have to hit evolve and hope for the best. Whether you want the purple Vaporeon or green Jolteon, you can’t necessarily have it your way.
