Square Enix’s mobile game, Final Fantasy Record Keeper, will be getting Octopath Traveler-themed content in a few weeks in the form of an event titled as Crossing Paths, which we all know is what Octopath Traveler is all about (via Siliconera). The Crossing Paths event will begin on Sep 12 –a little bit earlier than the Japanese start date (for once)– and will include some dungeons which will feature a few of the bosses from Octopath Traveler such as Gaston and Helgenish. These two bosses are from the campaigns of Primrose and Olberic, two of the characters that the Crossing Paths event seems to be focusing on.
You can watch the new development diary for Final Fantasy Record Keeper below which goes more in-depth on the collaboration:
Upon completion of these Octopath Traveler dungeons, you will be rewarded with a few music tracks from the Switch exclusive JRPG, as well as some five-star equipment.
Final Fantasy Record Keeper is available for download now on iOS and Android devices while Octopath Traveler is also out now for the Nintendo Switch. In Twinfinite’s review of Octopath Traveler, we praised the excellent character arcs and the HD 2D presentation but found some of the late-game bosses to be way more difficult than they needed to be.
