Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes: How to Get Void Orbs Fast

How to Get Void Orbs Fast in the Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes Event

The Solstice of Heroes summer event in Destiny 2 tasks players with collecting a variety of elemental orbs which includes, of course, void orbs. There are certain criteria you have to fulfill to not only get them to drop but to also ensure that they are counting towards your progress in the Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes armor set advancement quests. Here’s how to get void orbs fast.

First, make sure that you have the entire Solstice of Heroes armor set equipped. If you don’t, elemental orbs, including void orbs, won’t drop at all. You need to have all five pieces equipped.

Second, try and use an equipment/subclass combination that is all specced to be void. So for example, use a void special/power and subclass. This will give you the best chance of getting void orbs to drop. To amplify this and get drops event faster, go in with a fireteam that is also doing the same exact thing. We recommend killing two birds with one stone and going after heroic public events which will throw large amounts of enemies at you. You can get the void orbs you need while also knocking out heroic public event requirements as well. You can collect void orbs that are generated by other, non-fireteam players, but it’s just less effective if they are targeting something different than you.

Finally, and just as important, make sure that you are collecting them in the right circumstances. Read the directions that are on each armor piece. Sometimes you need to collect them during a strike, other times it doesn’t matter where you pick them up. But if you’re supposed to get them during a strike and you’re not doing that, it won’t count towards your progress.

That does it for how to get Void Orbs fast in Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes event. Best of luck farming and be sure to search Twinfinite for more guides and FAQs answered.
