In Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes armor event, getting Arc Orbs is one of the many challenges you’ll have to complete in order to upgrade the set to its highest potential. You’ll need a lot, usually about 100, so here’s how to get Arc Orbs fast for the Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes event.
How to Get Arc Orbs Fast in Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes (2019)
To get Arc Orbs fast for Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes event, what you’ll want to do is make sure that you’re decked out in all Arc weapons, and have your subclass set to Arc. Try to avoid using your primary. That way, every kill you get gives you a better chance of getting you an arc orb.
Next, go somewhere where there is a high population of enemies for you to kill. You don’t just want to wander around a planet if you don’t have to. Aim for public events that are going to throw a bunch of enemies for you to kill and possibly get an arc orb from.
Ideally, create a fireteam of guardians going for the same thing, also using the right weapons and subclasses, as you can pick up their drops as well.
We’ve noticed that more difficult enemies (named/armored) and the suicide fanatic goblins aka the disintegrators seen in the Vex conflux public event seem to have a higher drop rate and can drop multiples.
Non-fireteam Arc Orb drops can be picked up as well, but obviously they could be running different guns/subclass and could make things a little slower for you.
Make sure that you’re going over and picking up the Arc Orbs in Destiny 2. You need to physically touch them. They like to roll around after an explosion so try and keep track and ensure they don’t roll right off a cliff or something like that.
Finally, ensure that you have the entire Solstice armor set equipped in all five slots otherwise you won’t produce the Arc Orbs.
It’s also worth noting that some of the Solstice of Heroes armor requires you to get these orbs from Strikes. We personally found that The Hollowed Lair was the best strike to get Arc Orbs fast in Destiny 2, thanks to the huge amount of enemies you’ll be taking on as you play through it compared to others. It makes farming these far easier.
