Death’s Gambit: How to Get Feathers Back

Getting Feathers Back in Death’s Gambit

Recommended Videos

Plume feathers serve as your main source of healing in Death’s Gambit, and you’ll start off with a limited number of uses during your early hours. What’s interesting about Death’s Gambit is that, unlike other Souls-like games, you don’t actually lose your experience or shards. Instead, you’ll lose one feather, which means you’ll have one less healing charge. In order to get it back, all you have to do is go back to where you died and pick it back up again. You can do this by pressing down on the d-pad, and the feather will be returned to your inventory.

Alternatively, you can also get your feathers back from any death’s idol you’ve rested at. Just go back to the idol and rest, then select the Reclaim option. You’ll now be able to spend a certain number of shards to restore all your plume feathers. However, do note that the number of shards required to reclaim feathers will go up as your level increases. For instance, if you need 400 shards to level up, you’ll also need 400 shards to get the feathers back, so be mindful of that.

As you progress through the game, you’ll come across better feathers that heal even more HP, and can even give you better benefits such as damage reduction or reduced cooldown for a short duration of time. These can be accessed from your inventory, just like your equipment, and all you have to do is equip them like you would any piece of gear. You’ll also come across feather upgrades across the world, which will give you an additional healing charge, allowing you to heal more often.

That’s all you need to know about how to get feathers back. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more information on Death’s Gambit.
