What the PC System Requirements Are for Cyberpunk 2077
With the release of a 48-minute gameplay video of CD Projekt Red’s next title, Cyberpunk 2077, fans across the world were finally able to get a glimpse at what the press has already seen at both this year’s E3 and Gamescom events. If you’ve seen the video, which you can watch here, you know it’s looking gorgeous and you know it’s going to take a beefy PC to run it if that’s your system of choice. Just how beefy though? Here’s what the PC System Requirements for Cyperpunk 2077 are.
While we don’t know the minimum and maximum system requirements for the game yet — that information is likely years away — we do know what the system specs of the PC used to run the game in the gameplay reveal video are and here they are:
- CPU: Intel i7-8700K @ 3.7 GHz
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z370-I GAMING
- RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V, 2x16GB, 3000MHz, CL15
- GPU: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
- SSD: Samsung 960 Pro 512GB M.2 PCle
- PSU: Corsair SF600 600W
Anyone who knows PC system requirements knows that these specs are beefy, but they aren’t quite as high-end as we would have guessed. Still though, the game isn’t out yet and likely won’t be for a while, so it’s definitely possible that these specs will change. It’s safe to assume that the specs listed above are the specs required to run the system at optimal performance. Naturally, that means that lesser specs can be used to run the game at lower speeds, graphic settings and more. It’s also likely that higher-end specs will be able to push this game to even higher settings if a player is using a higher-end machine. For now, this is all we have to go off of. We’ll be sure to update this guide with information regarding system minimums and maximums when the information is released.
