How to Mute Other Players’ Mics in CoD Black Ops 4 Beta?
The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Private Beta launched today for PlayStation users who pre-ordered. With 10 different specialists to choose from, an array of game modes, such as the brand new Control mode, Team Deathmatch, and Search and Destroy, players will be busy for the next few days. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 requires different levels of teamwork, which can only be accomplished by players talking to one another, however, not every player may be friendly. Some players may have obnoxious background noise, loud music, or just general mean comments. The solution of muting a player is simple and here is how you can do it.
Before the match begins, while you are waiting in the lobby, you can hover over the name of the player you would like to mute, click inspect player, and then click mute player. This can be done on every player in the lobby if you just want a peaceful and quiet match of Call of Duty. Once you are in game, all you have to do to mute a player is click the touchpad to pull up the scoreboard and click on a player to mute them. You will notice a little red line to the left of their player card, indicating that they have in fact been muted.
The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 beta runs from Aug. 3 until Aug. 6, and then again on August 10-13 for Xbox, PlayStation 4, and PC. Be sure to fully put the game through its paces during the beta to get a sense if this game is for you. The full game of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be released on Oct. 12, 2018.
