6 Games Like Realm of the Mad God If You’re Looking for Something Similar

When it comes to bullet hell games like Realm of the Mad God, there’s no game that really cuts quite as close Enter the Gungeon. Don’t be fooled by its charming 2D pixels – this game is extremely punishing with the constantbarrage of bullets coming at you from every direction. Here, you play as one of four characters and weave your way through intricately laced levels jam-packed with all sorts of bullet-themed enemies. These big baddies are relentless as they are sporadic, and it’s up to you to learn their patterns as you roll your way past their attacks.

Luckily, you have your own set of firepower to fight back, from pistols to shock rifles. There’s definitely no shortage of guns in the game, and you’ll be blazing through each mission with the craziest weapons ever conceived. If you do find yourself at death’s door, however, you’ll find yourself back at the very first floor and have to start climbing up yet again and see what the next randomly generated stage has in store. While Enter the Gungeon isn’t an MMO like Realm of the Mad God, you can play the game with a friend thanks to the local co-op mode.
