What the Kill Record Is in Fortnite Battle Royale
When Fortnite Battle Royale first released, before it had taken over the gaming world, everyone was fighting towards being the last one alive so that they could be awarded with their first Victory Royale. However, now that millions of people around the world have played for months, a lot of fans are trying to not only get the win, but do so with the most kills possible. Winning with just one or two kills is still cool, but it’s not as incredible as getting double figures in kills on your way to victory. You may be wondering, therefore, what the solo kill record is in Fortnite Battle Royale, so you know what to aim for.
Now, the solo kill record isn’t exactly skill based, as it saw the player rely on his opponents being distracted. That’s because it happened on the day the rocket launched in Fortnite. While everyone was standing around admiring the rocket bounce around the map, causing cracks in the dome above, Elemental_Ray took everyone out with some very well played rockets of his own. A group of players worked together to build a staircase that would give them the perfect viewing patform for the rocket’s launch. With them all gathered in one place, Elemental_Ray let fly, taking out 48 of them. No-one saw it coming, and all it took was a well placed rocket to the bottom of the structure. As they fell, the record holder celebrated, and his record is unlikely to ever be beaten, unless there’s another event like the rocket launch coming up. Either way, he’ll be the solo kill record holder for the time being, at least.
