Shoot First, Ask Questions Later With Far Cry 5’s New Photo Mode

With the ability to change the time of day and add filters and frames, this mode promises endless amusement – especially since it also allows you to adjust facial expressions. We have seen what kind of wacky results that can lead to, if God of War is any indication.

Photo Mode is now accessible via the main menu in solo game modes. Players can tag their masterpieces with #FC5PhotoMode if they’re so inclined, and the results have already begun flooding Twitter. It’s only a matter of time before we begin to see some real winners.

Title Update 8 also added a new lobby browser in the arcade for multiplayer lobbies, new content to the arcade editor, and your typical bug fixes and adjustments. The complete list of patch notes can be found here, and if you want to learn more about Photo Mode, the Far Cry 5 website now has an entire page dedicated to it.
