With E3 2018 now out of the way, the summer release period is in full flow. However, you won’t be surprised to hear that July is quite a quiet month for video game releases, in terms of both high profile titles and the sheer number of games. Nintendo Switch owners will probably have the most to play this month, with the beautiful looking Octopath Traveler, as well as Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, coming to the hybrid console. Here are all the video game releases for July 2018:

One of the games to look out for in July 2018 is the Xbox One version of No Man’s Sky. The previously PlayStation exclusive space exploration game, which has changed a lot since it originally launched, is finally coming to Microsoft’s console, alongside a substantial new DLC pack. Red Faction Guerrilla and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker are also re-releasing on current generation consoles this month.

In terms of new releases, The Banner Saga 3 and Octopath Traveler are the games to keep on your radar. Like the previous two games, The Banner Saga 3 has been funded through Kickstarter, and it will come to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch, and is the conclusion to the turn-based strategy series. Octopath Traveler is a Switch exclusive RPG with a beautiful “HD-2D” art-style that follows a unique set of characters.
