Sushi Striker: How to Play Multiplayer

How to Play Multiplayer in Sushi Striker

Recommended Videos

Sushi Striker has a surprisingly lengthy single-player experience to dig into, but there are also multiplayer options in the game, so you can play with friends or strangers around the world. However, to play multiplayer, you’ll first need to progress through the game a little.

To be exact, you need to play through the 19th battle, which is when you’ll unlock access to Shrine Grove. This area essentially functions as your base in the game, and provides you with a few different options for training and learning new information. Once you have access to Shrine Grove, head to the Arena, which is where you’ll be able to play Local Battles with two systems, or Split Battles with one set of Joy-Cons on the Switch. Unfortunately, you won’t unlock access to online multiplayer for the next couple of chapters, but when you do, you’ll see an exclamation point pop up at the Arena in Shrine Grove.

Once you have Online Multiplayer, you can select the option to play with strangers or with friends. It’s a little disappointing that you can’t play multiplayer from the get-go, but it does make sense as everyone will have time to learn the game’s systems before jumping online.
