Crazy Big 3 E3 Announcements

If there’s one thing holding the Nintendo Switch back from total world dominance, it is the fact that they are still being left out of major AAA multi-platform releases. As far as we know, there’s no Switch version of games like Anthem, The Division 2, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider on the way.

The Switch is well on its way to having a sizable market share. If they wanted to take their efforts this generation to the next level, they could do it by revealing that there is a new, more powerful version of the Switch on the way that can handle more demanding AAA games.

Not only that, if Nintendo really wanted to dunk on everyone, they would trot a major developer or publisher, like say, Rockstar, out onto the stage to reveal that they are on board and will be delivering something like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Grand Theft Auto V, to launch alongside this new version of the Switch.

If that happens, whether it’s this year or in a future presentation, it would certainly change the current landscape, and force Microsoft and Sony to reevaluate their future hardware.
