You Can Bet That These 5 Cringeworthy Moments Will Happen Again at E3 2018

Ubisoft’s Over the Top Just Dance Demonstrations

e3 2018

Ubisoft likes to keep some of its big E3 announcements under wraps, ensuring they remain a surprise until the trailer finally rolls in the conference hall. Just Dance isn’t one of those games, though. We know it’s coming each and every year, and like clockwork, we get a cringeworthy on-stage demonstration from a dance troop busting shapes to some mash-up of 20 different chart-topping songs.

At first, it was novel and goofy and so we laughed it off as a one-off. But then, it returned. Year after year, the dancers give their best smiles as they flail about on-screen with some luminous neon human silhouettes on the large screen behind them mirroring their every move.

We pray it won’t happen again this year. But we know, deep down, we best start mentally preparing for a choreographed sequence to Freaky Friday, God’s Plan, and probably something by Ariana Grande, too.
