State of Decay 2: How to Change Survivors

How to Change Survivors in State of Decay 2

Recommended Videos

State of Decay 2 tasks you with scavenging the world for resources and trying to rid it of its zombie infestation. To do this, you’ll need a few survivors on your side to be as efficient as possible. Whenever one character is injured or fatigued, you’re going to want to rely on someone else to keep things going. This is where changing survivors in-game comes in handy.

First off, you and your survivors need to be in your home base before you can do any sort of swapping. In your base, simply head to the Double Bunk Room or just interact with any bed in the area to change to another survivor. You can also press the View button on your Xbox One controller, go to the Community tab, and then select the survivor that you want to switch to. Do note that you still need to be in your home base when switching characters through the Community tab. Once you’ve selected your next survivor, your previous character will be able to get some rest to recover from fatigue and trauma, and also regain some health before their next expedition.
