Pokemon Quest: What Auto Does

What Auto Does in Pokemon Quest

As you’ve gone on expeditions in Pokemon Quest and take on the wild Pokemon, you might have noticed an icon on the left side of the screen that says ‘Auto.’ This is an option that you can toggle on and off whenever you want, and it might help or hinder you in battle, depending on your team’s power level and the foes that you’re up against.

First off, the Auto function is pretty simple. When you toggle it on, the game basically plays itself. This means that you don’t have to manage your Pokemon’s cooldowns or attack moves, as the game will simply decide when to use it in battle. This can be a huge help when you’re grinding through the lower leveled expeditions, where you don’t need to put in as much thought into how you want to approach the fights. However, we strongly advise against using this function when you’re doing tougher expeditions. The cooldown management is a pretty key component in battles, and you’ll want to use them at the right time for optimal damage output. To toggle it on or off, simply tap the Auto icon and you’re done.
