Official Comic for Life Is Strange Continues That One Ending That May Have Been Somewhat Selfish

WARNING: MAJOR LIFE IS STRANGE SPOILERS AHEAD

If you’ve played through Life is Strange then you’re fully aware of the very difficult choice that the game throws at you right at the end of the game. Do you choose to take the selfless route to save Arcadia Bay by sacrificing your best friend Chloe? Or do you kill everyone in your town to save your best buddy/potential girlfriend? It was a gut-wrenching decision that most likely made us all tear up, especially if you chose the selfless route and decided to give up Chloe for the well-being of others. The developers at Dontnod Entertainment have yet to say which choice is canon, which is probably the best decision since Life is Strange 2 is planning on telling a different story entirely, so it really doesn’t matter at the end of the day.

An official comic for Life is Strange is coming out later this year that will continue the story with Max and Chloe both being alive. According to the official Amazon description, we will be following the both of them and their potential future together:

“Following on from one of two possible endings of the game, Life Is Strange: Dust takes the saga of Max and Chloe into a new and uncertain future, in an all-new comic strip adventure. No matter which ending you chose, this deep dive into Max and Chloe’s potential future will thrill, shock, and surprise you all over again. You thought Max and Chloe’s story was over? Their trials are only beginning!”

This comic strip will serve as the real ending for that choice and for those fans who constantly ship Chloe and Max, they will surely be happy with this upcoming epilogue, unless something terrible happens at the end, which would just be cruel.

You can pre-order the Life is Strange comic right here.
