Nintendo Celebrates the Launch of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition With a Flashy Trailer

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is finally out for the Nintendo Switch today, and to commemorate the launch of the upgraded Wii U port, Nintendo has released a brand new trailer that shows off a whole bunch of characters as well as some pretty rad homages to the Zelda franchise itself. For those of you that have not played the original that released on the Wii U back in 2014, this Definitive Edition not only comes with all of the previously released downloadable content but it has all of the features that were included in Hyrule Warriors Legends for the 3DS as well as some sweet new costumes for Zelda and Link based on their Breath of the Wild designs.

Hyrule Warriors is a team effort between Koei Tecmo and Nintendo to bring the characters of Zelda into the world of Dynasty Warriors, which primarily focuses on the hack-and-slash musou gameplay that the long-running series is known for. Fire Emblem Warriors was also another team up for the two companies that released late last year for the Nintendo Switch and the New Nintendo 3DS.
