Publisher Focus Home Interactive and Vostok Games, a studio comprised of former S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developers, have released five brand-new screenshots of their upcoming FPS battle royale game, Fear The Wolves, a title they announced back in February.
You can check out the screenshots at the end of this article but here’s some context so that you know what you’re looking at:
Fear the Wolves will be a first person shooter battle royale game that pits 100 players, either playing in squads or as “lone wolves”, against each other in a fight to be the last man standing. While this might sound extremely similar to other battle royale titles, Fear the Wolves will set itself apart by adding various survival and PvE mechanics such as deadly anomalies, dynamically-changing weather, a range of mutated creatures, and “the unpredictable spread of deadly radiation”.
While the screenshots give us great a look at the game’s “radiation-ravaged Chernobyl” and its locations such as factories, power plants, and small towns, we are now also treated to our first look at the game’s fierce mutant wolves.
Fear the Wolves is set for a PC release somewhere in 2018, with a PS4 and Xbox One version coming a bit later. An Early Access version for PC will be released sometime this summer.
