The fan-favorite desert-themed map Miramar is making its way to PUBG Mobile today, as of the game’s new 0.5.0 update. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds fans looking to sink their teeth into the map can do so today, as the update is available now.
Miramar has been available for PC players for some time now, ever since December 2017, but it’s still not fully available for Xbox One players. It’s interesting that it’s hitting the mobile version of PUBG ahead of becoming a permanent part of the PUBG Xbox One roster just yet, but it’s great news either way.

In addition to the inclusion of Miramar, today’s update also includes new in-game and social features such as a local quick team feature that lets you enter a 6-digit code to team up with friends nearby, as well as optimization for in-game sounds, climbing, parachuting, and special effects. There’s also a swath of new weapons and vehicles you can try out. If you’ve been patiently waiting for PUBG mobile to get this long-awaited update, it’s good to go right now, and all you’ll need to do is make sure you install the new update.
Hopefully this means the Miramar map will also be setting down for the foreseeable future on consoles soon, so all platforms have virtually the same selection going forward. That would be a real treat.
