Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition: How to Beat Phantom Ganon

How to Beat Phantom Ganon in Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch

Recommended Videos

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch brings together heroes from across The Legend of Zelda series for a traditional warriors experience. Of course, the heroes aren’t the only ones as there are plenty of villains you’ll have to contend with along the way. One of the giant bosses that will pop up during Adventure Mode, particularly on Wind Waker maps, is Phantom Ganon.

This foe can be a bit tricky to take down, as he has attacks that hit hard and doesn’t have an immediately apparent weakness. You can, of course, chip away at him with basic attacks and special attacks. However, in order to put him in a downed state you’ll want to attack his cape on his back. You can theoretically attack his back at any point if you’re quick, but it’s easiest to do so after his dual sword spin attack. Once the boss starts laughing, circle around to his back and attack, then once he’s downed let his weak point have it. Just hang in there, make sure to keep your health up, and you should take out Phantom Ganon before too long.
