How to Get Eye of the Storm Item & What it Does in Fortnite Battle Royale
The latest content update has arrived for Fortnite Battle Royale, adding Solid Gold V2, a number of tweaks, and the new jetpack items. However, there also appears to be a new item popping up in Fortnite Battle Royale and that’s the Eye of the Storm.
In order to get Eye of the Storm, it looks as though you’ll find these in chests. They look like small, electronic devices and are also have a Rare rarity (blue), so be sure not to mistake them for remote explosives. Once picked up, they’ll look like a little backpack in your inventory. You can also get it in weapon and shield floor drop locations, so just keep an eye out for this new item and you should get your hands on one soon enough.
For those unaware of what this new tracker does, this rare item shows you final eye of the storm location, allowing you to plan ahead of time, get some high ground, or make a beeline for the final spot immediately, rather than having to guess. It is, of course, an incredibly handy item to have in Fortnite Battle Royale, but Eye of the Storm does take up a slot in your inventory, so you’ll have to sacrifice a weapon or healing item if you do want to keep hold of it.
