Is Fortnite Coming to Nintendo Switch?

Recommended Videos

Fortnite has been slowly but surely taking over the world, mainly due to the release of its ever-popular Battle Royale mode. With millions of players now enjoying the free-to-play title, and with it now available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and soon Android devices, the game has pretty much conquered every available platform. That is, except for the Nintendo Switch. As such, it’s got people wondering whether Fortnite will eventually make its way to the Nintendo Switch.

Currently, at the time of writing, Epic Games has yet to announce a Switch version of the game. That doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen, though, and with the game being playable on mobile devices, it could certainly run on the Nintendo Switch, too. Heck, even Chance the Rapper tweeted out about how much he wanted the game to hit Nintendo’s hybrid system.

If we were to get some sort of Fortnite Switch announcement, we’ve got a feeling it’d now make up part of Nintendo’s E3 Direct taking place in just a couple of weeks’ time. We’ll have our fingers crossed, and will be sure to update this post as soon as any information is shared.

That’s all you currently need to know regarding whether or not Fortnite is coming to Nintendo Switch. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
