How to Get the Shovel Launcher in Far Cry 5

Now that the latest live event for Far Cry 5 is up and running, players have been given the glorious task of hunting wolves. The reward for success is especially sweet, as it yields a shovel launcher to wreak havoc with – a weapon that is just as ridiculous as it sounds.

In order to obtain the shovel launcher in Far Cry 5, players need to participate in the White Collar Job event, where they are assigned the task of killing wolves with arrows, including Jacob Seed’s rabid Judges. All it takes is 10 kills to be able to claim the shovel gun for themselves, as well as an XP boost.

The community reward for this event, the Jacob’s Hunter outfit, will be rewarded to participants if the collective kill total reaches 500,000. Though it may sound like a steep number, the sheer absurdity of the shovel launcher is likely incentive enough for everyone to give it a shot, no doubt drastically thinning out the Hope County lupine population in the process.

White Collar Job will only last until May 8 in Far Cry 5, so if you don’t want to miss out on a weapon that can both kill enemies and dig graves for them in the one fell swoop, grab your bows and take out some wolves.

That’s all you need to know to get the shovel launcher in Far Cry 5. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
