How to Complete the Survey & What It Does in Detroit Become Human

Recommended Videos

Detroit Become Human is set in the near future where humans use androids for all sorts of menial tasks and work, from police work to being a nanny. Of course, the majority of the game deals with the widening gap between humans and androids, as more and more androids begin to develop artificial consciousness. While the majority of Detroit’s themes are apparent, there’s a neat easter egg that deals with your own feelings about androids, and can be easy to miss.

After you start the game and play for a little bit, you can back out to the menu and go to Extras. There you’ll find a short survey you can complete asking you how you feel on certain topics about artificial intelligence, and when you complete it you can view what your friends and other players answered. The survey works as a sort of meta-narrative, but there doesn’t seem to be any kind of functions outside of that. Still, make sure you take a few minutes to pop out to the menu and answer the questions, as it can be interesting to see how yourself and others answer.
