What Destiny 2 Warmind’s Install Size Is
The latest expansion in the Destiny 2 universe, titled Warmind, arrives on May 8 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, but how big of a file will you have to download before being able to jump into the action? Here’s what you need to know about Destiny 2 Warmind’s install size.
On PC, the install size is 48 GB, on Xbox One it is 50 GB, and PlayStation 4 is 53 GB. The Destiny 2 Warmind expansion comes with a new playable area, weapons and armor for your guardians, along with a new Raid Lair, and public event. With these large new additions it is no surprise that the install size is so large.
If you want to play Destiny 2 Warmind as soon as possible you’ll want to pre-load the expansion in advance. If you have pre-ordered, you are able to pre-load the expansion as soon as May 6 on PS4, so get on it! Your best bet otherwise is to leave your console in rest mode and allow the update to download while you’re at work, or doing chores before you sink hours into Warmind.
