Destiny 2 Warmind: How to Start Escalation Protocol

Starting Escalation Protocol in Destiny 2: Warmind

Recommended Videos

Escalation Protocol is a brand new horde mode public event introduced in Destiny 2’s Warmind expansion. It’s considered an end game activity, and while you can participate in it with other players before completing the campaign, we strongly advise against doing so. The enemies in Escalation Protocol are tough, and you’ll need to level up as much as you can to even have a hope of completing it.

Once you complete the main campaign in Destiny 2: Warmind, you’ll be able to start activating the Escalation Protocol public event yourself. Simply head to Mars and start looking for squarish metal panels on the ground. These panels will glow red, similar to what you saw from the Valkyrie nodes to summon the javelin in the campaign. You can also use your Ghost to look for the panels by heading towards the Escalation Protocol icons. Once you find one of these panels, interact with it, and the event will start. Other Guardians who happen to be near you will also be able to join in on the fun. You’ll have to defeat all enemies within the time limit in order to progress, or the event will end.

And there you have all you need to know to start the Escalation Procotol event in Destiny 2: Warmind. Be sure to check our wiki for more information on Destiny 2.
