Middle-earth: Shadow of War is getting new DLC in the form of the Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion, just in case you forgot, and today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has shared its opening cinematic. You can take a look at the video ahead of the expansion’s opening below, just in case you’ve got a burning desire to see more of the game and can’t wait to jump right in.
The video takes a look at Baranor, the Captain of Minas Ithil, who’s on his way out of the city as it’s taken a hard fall. Together with his lost brother Serka, the pair will have to work with an army of humans to take on Orcs who have risen up in the east. On their journey they’ll travel to the desert region of Lithlad to fight off the Marauder fortress all the way from Shindrâm.
You can pick up the Full Expansion Pass that’ll grant you access to Desolation of Mordor on May 8, Blade of Galadriel, which is available now, Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion, and Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion which are available now as well for $39.99.
