Anthem Joins in on the Pre-E3 Announcement Teasers

The Anthem Twitter account is seemingly teasing that an announcement of some sort could be made in the near future, following on from a flurry of surprise reveals in the past couple of days.

The tweet doesn’t give us a whole lot of context, aside from fitting in with the sci-fi theme of the game. You can check it out for yourself below.

Exactly what this is referring to remains unclear, though it does seem to suggest we’re getting some sort of announcement prior to E3. Anthem isn’t the first game to get a sudden pre-E3 announcement tease, with Bethesda having just today officially announced Fallout 76 following a livestream tease yesterday.

Nintendo also jumped on the bandwagon, having stealth announced and subsequently released Pokemon Quest on Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee and Let’s Go Pikachu were also announced in the same stream, due to release on the Nintendo Switch in November this year.

Anthem is due to release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in March 2019.
