Dark Souls Remastered is coming soon, and it looks like outlets have been spending time with the game ahead of its release. We’ve now gotten our first look at some direct-feed gameplay that shows off how the game will perform on PlayStation 4 as well as some information on what to expect from the title in general. Dark Souls Remastered will feature 4K resolution with upscaled 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One, and native 4K on PC, with 1080p at 60 frames per second on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For the Switch version, it’ll feature 1080p at 30 frames per second when docked and 720p at 30 frames per second as handheld game.

It’s been quite some time since we’ve gotten to head into the world of the original Dark Souls, but that time is coming around again, and it looks like this version of the game should provide a clean, crisp way to experience it whether you’re returning or simply starting anew.
