The battle royale craze is still in full swing, with plenty of games following in the footsteps of titles like Fortnite and PlayUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Within the growing market, Lawbreakers creator Cliff Bleszinski decided to join in and created a new game called Radical Heights – a free-to-play battle royale game with a slight twist.
While the game is currently exclusive on PC, it seems like the developer wants to bring it over to other platforms. In a recent Twitter thread, Bleszinski and Xbox’s Larry Hyrb eventually got around to talking about his Radical Heights. The Gears of War director expressed his interest in the Xbox, claiming that he would like to port the game over.
Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of Gaming, Mike Ybarra, then replied “It’s pretty easy to publish on Xbox. Teenagers do it in the Creators Program.” That being said, it seems like Xbox fans might have another battle royale game to look forward to aside from Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Radical Heights is Bleszinski’s latest project, following Gears of War and Lawbreakers. As it stands, the game is having trouble making a name for itself in the crowded market. Nonetheless, the free-to-play battle royale game has been far more successful than the team shooter ever was.
