Peggle Free for PC Owners via Origin Today

Peggle

PopCap’s pinball and Plinko-like puzzle game Peggle is one of the most popular games of its kind, and if you haven’t ever played it, you’ve been missing out for quite some time. Luckily, you can rectify that right now. Starting today, it’s free to download and is up for grabs via Origin if you want to finally give it a try.

As part of EA’s ongoing Origin on the House promotion, which essentially gifts you a permanent game for your collection, Peggle will be free for a limited time, as long as you have an Origin account to claim it with. You can keep it forever, which is about how long you’ll probably want to play it.

Peggle finds you shooting a magical ball onto the playfield as it hits pegs that need to be cleared out of the area. You have various different power-ups that help you achieve this, and each shot finds your Peggle ball dipping into a specific point bucket at the bottom of the screen. You need to clear the board to finish a level, and high scores are just the icing on the cake.

If you’re interested in giving it a spin, make sure to pick it up via Origin today, and get ready to join the Peggle madness, which you’re admittedly a few years late to. Better late than never, though, right?
