PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
One of the more similar games to Fortnite, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has players duking it out in a free-for-all fight. You’ll have to pick your drop point and scavenge the surrounding area for any weapons or materials you might find. At the core of it all, however, is to basically be the last man standing. PUBG features plenty of unique maps and different weapons to choose from, and there are even various vehicles you can use to get around the area. With its tight gunfights and vast maps, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is definitely worth looking into if you’re a major Fortnite fan.
PUBG might not have been the first battle royale game, but it definitely spurred other developers into trying their hand at the genre. The game became so popular that it was even nominated as Game of the Year 2017 back during its Early Access days. Nowadays, however, it’s facing against plenty of competition – particularly, Fortnite. These two titles have been duking it out since last year, with Bluehole having even considered taking legal action in the past.
