When Tilted Towers Is Being Removed from Fortnite Battle Royale
Fortnite Battle Royale players may be about to witness an impending comet collision that is rumored to completely wipe out Tilted Towers from the game map and replace it with something else. While exactly what will replace Tilted Towers and exactly how it’ll be removed remains to be seen, there are a couple of dates that seem to be the most likely.
It’d make the most sense for Epic Games to wait until the end of the current season in Fortnite Battle Royale before removing arguably the most popular location on the map, rather than midway through. As such, chances are we could see Tilted Towers removed from Fortnite Battle Royale on April 30 when Season 3 comes to a close.
Alternatively, there’s another rumored date for Tilted Towers’ eradication from Fortnite Battle Royale that’s come by way of those controller vibrations. According to Redditor vigilancefoetracer, the vibrations, when translated to Morse code, spell out “SOS D5 418.” With SOS being obvious and D5 being Tilted Towers’ grid reference on the map, that just leaves the 418. While some thought this might be April 1, others now believe that it could be April 18.
Currently, these are the two dates that look most likely to be when the loot-filled metropolis will be removed from Battle Royale. Of course, as and when there are new developments regarding this, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
