How to Vote on American Idol
American Idol is back once again and a bunch of talented individuals are busy singing their hearts out to try and win over the judges, and most importantly, yourselves. If you want to know what you need to do to save your favorite contestant, keep on reading.
Now that we’re down to the top 14 acts, each contestant now has a different number. All you need to do to vote on American Idol is simply head to AmericanIdol.com/vote, download the American Idol app, or send a text.
If you opt to vote on American Idol by sending a text, you’ll need to make sure you send the correct message, in the correct format, to the right number.
For each of the contestants below, all you need to do is text their number to “21523” and your vote will be registered. Please note that text voting will still result in message and data charges your mobile carrier has in place. You can vote up to 10 times each week, per method, so if you really want to see someone win, you could technically vote 30 times.

Finally, keep in mind that voting for American Idol isn’t always open. Votes are only counted if cast between set times, so be sure to tune in each week to find out when you CAN vote. For example, this week voting was open from April 22, 8 pm ET, until April 23, 9 am ET.
