Free Games in April 2018

criminally underrated, xbox one, games

Sony really stepped up their game last month by releasing Bloodborne as a free game for PS Plus subscribers. And if we’re being honest, it’s kinda hard to top that. Still, Plus subscribers will be happy to see Mad Max on the shelf for April.

Developed by Avalanche Studios, it was released three years ago at the same time as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, causing it to be overshadowed by the epic conclusion to the Metal Gear saga. Still, as an open world action game, this is definitely worth a look. The sandy wastelands are gorgeous, and the vehicular combat is as exciting as you’d expect from a franchise that’s all about insane car action.

TrackMania Turbo is also on offer this month, in which players get to race along 200 pre-built tracks, trying to set new records before creating their own custom tracks once they’ve got a hang of the basics. PS Vita and PS3 users haven’t been forgotten, and they’ll be able to snag Q*Bert Rebooted, a remastered version of the classic arcade game.

You can check out all the free games available on PS Plus in April 2018 down below:

  • Mad Max
  • Trackmania Turbo
  • In Space We Brawl
  • Toy Home
  • 99 Vidas
  • Q*Bert Rebooted
