Zelda-like Action RPG The Swords of Ditto Launches This April

The Swords of Ditto is one of Devolver Digital’s latest, a colorful and zany adventure with a color palette that looks similar to that of Costume Quest, and a ton of heroes that you can either play as alone o join up with to defeat the evil that threatens the world. The latest gameplay trailer reveals an extremely Zelda-like adventure that has you questing with a new hero every 100 years in a fight agains the evil Mormo.

In true rogue like fashion, you’ll start with a new random hero every time you play to try and destroy Mormo with your legendary sword. You’ll level the sword instead of the hero, essentially, as once a hero passes, a new one will rise again with the same sword as their predecessors. This means the experience and power from the previous sword will stay unlocked so you’ve got plenty of chances at felling the ultimate evil.

If you like cartoony adventures and want to spend some time with friends, The Swords of Ditto looks like it will be right up your alley, especially given all the ways you can return to the same sword after your hero has passed. The game will be launching on both PlayStaton 4 and PC on April 24, so you’ve got plenty of time to build up your crew.
