First Person Mode and Other New Features
The Insomnia City Ruins aren’t the only thing added on with the Royal Pack, and there’s even another area to explore. Early on in Final Fantasy XV, you take the Royal Vessel across the sea to Altissia. Now, the Royal Pack lets you take direct control of the ship and explore a bit of the sea on your way to the watery city. This results in new secrets, fishing spots, and recipes to uncover.
At the same time, a couple of smaller features have also been added into Final Fantasy XV, changing the way you can play. The most interesting of these is the first-person mode, letting you play the game from Noctis’ point of view. There’s also the Armiger Unleashed item, which significantly powers up the Armiger ability that Noctis can use, new trophies added on top of the standard list, as well as new ways to acquire the Regalia Type-D, the ridiculous off-road enhancement for the car. There’s quite a bit of new content added into Final Fantasy XV with the Royal Pack as you can see, even more content for an already huge game.
