Square Enix has recently shared a teaser video for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. The game is a 2006 PSP remake of the 1999-released PlayStation game, Valkyrie Profile. Dubbed as the “First Teaser Trailer 2018,” the short clip features the text,“You have the right to live. I am a selector of souls. I choose human souls like I’m picking flowers!? What is a Valkyrie!? Am I a god of death?” On top of that, the video’s description reads, “In 2018, the goddess descends,” which hints that the game will be returning later this year.
A Twitter account of the game was also launched earlier today. The first tweet stated that the account will be sharing more details about Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth starting today. However, they have shared no other details about the game. It’s possible that this announcement could hint at a possible port, although they have yet to confirm this.

Inspired by Norse mythology, the role-playing game follows the story of a valkyrie named Lenneth who travels through the world called Midgard, collecting the souls of fallen heroes to train them and fight alongside her, or send them as forces for the battle to decide the fate of all creation.
