The Sims Mobile is supposed to be every Sims’ fans go to experience for some mobile simmin’. But after having purchased The Sims 4 and all of the DLC that it can possibly bring, it’s natural to be a bit wary about shelling out any more cash for a lesser experience. Is this one going to be totally free for players? Well, here’s your answer!

Luckily for those of us that don’t want to spend anything, The Sims Mobile is totally free. You can of course pay real world money to get extras in the game, much like every other mobile game on Earth, but you won’t have to shell it out if you don’t want to.

Paying your hard-earned cash will grant you extras like more clothes, special items, haircuts, and of course less wait times. See, your sim uses energy to do things, and once you run out, you need to wait it out or eat a cupcake. These cupcakes aren’t easy to come across in the game, though, so they’ll likely be the main thing you’ll want to be spending your money on.

But, at the end of the day, this is all optional and you don’t have to spend a dime if you don’t want to, to be able to enjoy The Sims Mobile. So, yes, The Sims Mobile is in fact free!
