Overwatch’s latest hero, Brigitte Lindholm, is officially joining the fight this month, in a surprise turn of events. Now you no longer have to wait an excruciating amount of time to play as Torbjörn’s daughter, as she’s going to be available in-game across all platforms on March 20.
Torbjörn’s mechanical engineer daughter grew up in his footsteps, spending a lot of time as a child tinkering about in her father’s workshop to figure out things on her own. Instead of working on weapons like her dad, however, she took a keen interest in creating awesome defensive tech instead.
Because of that, Brigitte is a support hero who specializes in armor and defense mechanisms. She can throw Repair Packs to help heal teammates, use her Flail to damage enemies with a wide shot, or a Whip Shot to stun. Her Barrier Shield can offer defense while she attacks with Shield Bash, and her Rally ultimate ability is a big speed boost while giving all nearby allies armor to help keep them safe. Brigitte is all about beefing your team up, and she seems like a solid teammate.
It takes a village to raise (and create) a hero!
