Complete Your Kingdom
4 Things to Do After Beating Ni No Kuni 2
The kingdom building in Ni No Kuni 2 sure is addictive. This adorable Sims-like feature is plush with a surprising amount of depth, and it’s highly unlikely you’ll have maxed your kingdom’s potential size before the end of the game. So now you’ve vanquished Doloron and the Horned One, it’s time to return to Evermore and start populating your idyllic Revenant Kingdom to its maximum capacity.
This will likely necessitate you finishing many of the game’s side quests and errands to recruit new citizens, which in turn you can put to use in your new buildings. There are some cool stories to be had along the way, but importantly, you’ll unlock new abilities back at Evermore that will help Evan and his pals in combat.
We went 50 hours in Ni No Kuni 2 without unlocking anywhere near the full selection of spells at the Spell Works, nor did we benefit from much of the handy research that will make your party both better in other aspects of the game, such as the Skirmishes and Dreamer’s Mazes.
