Playing A Way Out for Free
A Way Out follows the story of Vincent and Leo, two men who meet in jail and decide to plan a breakout together. As the premise might suggest, this game is meant to be played in co-op, and you can do so either locally or through online multiplayer. However, a neat thing about the game is that if you want to play with someone online, you don’t need two copies of the game. On the contrary, only one of you needs to own the full game, and the second player can play through it for free.
Once the game officially launches on March 23, players will be able to download a Friends Pass free trial version on the PSN store, Xbox store, or through Origin. The full game will be downloaded to your system, but you’ll need to receive an invite from a friend who already owns the paid version. Once you get the invite, you can then launch the Friends Pass version and play through the story from start to finish with your friend. This way, both players can enjoy the story and only have to buy the game once.
