PS4 owners have a big month ahead of them in March, as PS Plus gets one of its most impressive months yet, offering both Bloodborne and Ratchet & Clank. Bloodborne was our personal Game of the Year in 2015, and it’s easily one of the strongest exclusive the PS4 has up its sleeve. At the same time Ratchet & Clank, the 2016 game, is easily one of the best remakes out there, feeling more like a new game than a rehash of the original.
Of course, that’s not all PlayStation owners get as PS3 and Vita owners will get their own selection of games. Here’s the four other games available in March.
- Legend of Kay, PS3
- Mighty No. 9, PS3 (Cross Buy with PS4)
- Claire: Extended Cut, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
- Bombing Busters, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
Speaking of PS3 and Vita, there’s an important service update Sony announced today along with the PS Plus titles. Starting next year on March 8, 2019 PS Plus will no longer include PS3 and Vita games, and will focuse solely on PS4 titles. Any games that you’ve gotten through PS Plus, however, will remain in your library as long as you’re a subscriber and you won’t lose any of your saves or data. While this is disappointing for some fans, with the PS3 and Vita getting older it makes sense that Sony would want to just double down on the PS4. At this point we don’t know if this means we can expect more than two PS4 games a month, or if that number will stay the same in 2019.
