Bandai Namco has released a new behind the scenes video for Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, this time showing the process its composer went through while crafting the soundtrack. The game’s soundtack is composed by the legendary Joe Hisaishi, the composer behind most Studio Ghibli films and the original Ni No Kuni.
In the video we get to see a bit of the process Hisaishi went through with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as with Ni No Kuni II Story & General Director Akihiro Hino. Hisaishi states “Compared to the first Ni No Kuni, I raised the bar with the level of music in terms of intelligence, which isn’t to say that the music itself was difficult to write, though it is challenging for an orchestra to perform it.” The game’s soundtrack if fully orchestrated, and it certainly seems to match that trademark Ghibli whimsical style that Hisaishi is so good at. Take a look at the full video down below.
Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will launch on March 23 for PS4 and PC. If you missed it earlier today, Bandai Namco also released another trailer giving us a look at the gaudy city of Goldpaw.
