Metal Gear Survive Tips and Tricks for Beginners

As you explore the large environments in Metal Gear Survive, you’ll come across a lot of materials and resources you can pick up. Don’t hesitate to hoard them all. Metal Gear Survive gives you quite a bit of inventory space, and you’ll need all the resources you can get to craft ammo, fences, clothing and armor, and other types of equipment. Not to mention food and water, which you’ll need to maintain your max health and stamina meters.

Most importantly, don’t forget to break the dark red crystals and pick up the Kuban Energy that drops from them. This is the main form of currency you’ll be using in Metal Gear Survive, and it’s required in virtually everything you do from crafting to leveling up. There are also various items in the world that can be broken with a few weapon swipes, such as oil drums and wooden planks. Breakable items will look shinier than the environment, and you’ll see a health bar next to them. Break them for materials.
